Liz's health and fitness journey began when she started competitive swimming at the age of five alongside her little brother Josh in 1995 on St. Maarten in the Caribbean, and swam competitively throughout her childhood. Currently she works as a swim coach/fitness instructor specializing in youth athletes, along with being an independent personal trainer.

Liz began her swim instruction/coaching in 2011, and began working with triathletes in 2014. Liz completed her Bachelor’s at TWU in December of 2015 in Kinesiology, Exercise Science and Nutrition.

Liz has a strong commitment to her family and friends, as well as her clients. She enjoys being active and cannot sit more than an hour, making her a perfect coach for young athletes!

Monthly dues are due on the 1st of each month, and will be considered late after the 5th. Once a family has been notified of an outstanding late balance, they will have one practice to complete payment before the athlete will no longer be able to attend practices. Once payment is completed, the athlete will be able to resume attendance. Questions regarding payment and policy should be directed to

If an athlete will be missing an entire month of practice, he or she can subtract a quarter of the session dues (or one month's payment) from the total owed. This must be arranged with Playtri Youth & Juniors staff in advance, NOT after the payment has been made. There are no credits for missed days or weeks of practices, afterwards or in advance. We thank you for your understanding.

Team Playtri strives to adhere to the 10 Principles of the American Development Model as presented by the US Olympic Committee, and emphasizes age-appropriate training and competition, with an emphasis on good sportsmanship and positive attitude. Our mission is "Building Life-Long Athletes with World-Class Potential," meaning that we strive to provide young athletes with the skills and mentality needed to enjoy a lifetime of sport, along with the foundational skills necessary for high performance at an appropriate age for those who choose to pursue that goal.

Because of this, over 80% of our athletes participate in skills-based, recreational team programs that emphasize fun, form and fitness over competition.
