Nutrition & Hydration 101

Nutrition and hydration - an aspect of the sport that can easily make or break the plans of the most prepared athlete. It is king in long course triathlon, and it determines whether or not you'll be able to successfully complete your next training session.

This lecture will cover the basic science behind WHY effective nutrition & hydration is so crucial in endurance sport, and HOW to successfully plan for your next big competition.

Specifically, we will cover items such as:
-Weight loss
-Training nutrition/hydration
-Racing nutrition/hydration
-Short versus long course nutrition/hydration
-Effective products
-Pre- and post-exercise practices
-Potential race day challenges and how to address them

Finally, bring all your specific questions as we will have time for Q&A at the end of the presentation.
