Recovery for Consistent Load & Success

Recovery for Consistent Load & Success

Join us on Wednesday, January 23rd, for the first event in our 2019 Facebook LIVE Science of Triathlon Series with Playtri Head Coach Morgan Hoffman!

HOW TO ATTEND: Login to Facebook and head over to the Playtri Cycling page on Wednesday, January 23rd at 6:00 PM - the video will be available for viewing at the top of the page.

At this event, Coach Hoffman will be discussing the Playtri approach to recovery, and its integral part in accumulating load for long-term adaptation and success in triathlon.

"The more training we do, the better we get - but the key to doing more training is to recover effectively from today's session so we can successfully complete tomorrow's session. If we are able to identify and address weaknesses in recovery, some which may only require a few minutes of our time, we will ultimately be able to do more and adapt faster."

Recovery is a term tossed around by athletes and coaches on a daily basis, but how can we create a PLAN for recovery like we have a plan for training? What are your recovery weaknesses? It's not JUST about sleep - learn how you can start recovering better, adapting faster, and doing more (with less chance of injury or illness) TODAY.

Demystifying Performance Testing

Performance testing SOUNDS cool, but what is it really? What should you as an athlete expect to get out of it? Do you have to be at a certain "level" to benefit from it?

We'll answer all of these questions and more at Demystifying Performance Testing with Playtri Head Coach Morgan Hoffman.

This presentation will include an exploration of the technology, science and equipment behind:

Metabolic testing
Blood lactate testing
Sweat testing
Swim, bike & run analysis

...as well as PRACTICAL applications for testing data from all of the above. Sadly, many tests on the market today do little more than provide data for the sake of data - learn what to look for as an athlete so that you can make smart investments in your health and performance.
